Elizabeth Brunson is an Associate Wealth Advisor at Investing for Catholics (IFC), a division of Index Fund Advisors, Inc. (IFA). Elizabeth joined IFC in July 2024, following her graduation from the University of California, Irvine, where she earned a Master of Professional Accountancy and completed the program’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Pathway.

Prior to obtaining her graduate degree, Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting. She is a licensed Investment Advisor Representative (Series 65).

Before joining IFC, Elizabeth held internship positions at public accounting firms, including Murphy, Murphy, and Murphy (Murphy 3), BDO, and Grant Thornton. Importantly, she also worked in the Finance and Accounting department at the Diocese of Orange. These experiences have provided her with a key foundational understanding of both the technical and ethical dimensions of finance. Joining IFC has been Elizabeth’s long-planned aspiration, fulfilling her ultimate goal to work alongside her mentor and mother, IFC Co-Founder, Mary Brunson.
