Wealth Advisor Representative

As a Wealth Advisor, your role is to deliver personalized investment solutions to individual and institutional client types and help them build secure financial futures through experienced advice, evidence-based investment strategies and extensive investment education. Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate has a proven track record of prospecting new financial services clients with a verifiable ability to close business. Candidate must be outgoing, personable, focused and understand that success requires dedication and hard work
  • Prior experience as a financial advisor, wealth manager, investment consultant, stockbroker or finance manager is essential. Existing client relationships is preferred.
  • Sales experience with a proven track record of success is required.
  • Must be driven to sell and continually learn about the benefits of passive investing
  • College degree or qualified experience required
  • Series 65 required (will assist qualified candidates in obtaining)

Entry-Level Portfolio Analyst

Index Fund Advisors (IFA) is a fee-only, independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and fiduciary dedicated to providing comprehensive wealth management solutions. We specialize in designing and managing risk-appropriate, tax-managed, and risk-return-optimized portfolios built exclusively with index funds. Our mission is to help clients achieve their financial goals through evidence-based investing, transparency, and disciplined portfolio management.

Position Overview

This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to begin a career in portfolio management and investment operations. The Portfolio Analyst will provide operational and investment support to IFA’s Wealth Advisors and work closely with the Senior Portfolio Manager to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and superior client service.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, enjoys tackling complex problems, and is eager to develop a strong foundation in the principles of passive investing and modern portfolio theory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to Wealth Advisor and Client Service Specialist inquiries promptly and accurately.
  • Verify the accuracy of prior-day trades, ensuring all trade details are correct and compliant.
  • Execute daily investment of client deposits and raise cash for monthly withdrawals according to client portfolio specifications.
  • Complete assigned trading tasks in alignment with IFA’s investment policies and client objectives.
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring, account setup, and investment of new client accounts.

Reporting & Reconciliation

  • Reconcile data between custodians and internal systems.
  • Run portfolio and performance reports as needed.
  • Support operational efficiency through meticulous document filing and administrative organization

Skills & Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of financial markets, including mutual funds, equities, and fixed income.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with financial software is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and work collaboratively in a team setting.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment theory.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or prior experience in investment operations, trading, or financial analysis.
  • Working knowledge of custodial platforms (e.g., Schwab and Fidelity) preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
